All of us at Dovetail are honored to have worked with the great people at SLUCare to develop and implement the Informed Medicine campaign which took home six different honors at the 2018 Annual Healthcare Awards. Informed Medicine claimed a gold for radio, a silver for special video and a bronze for digital video along with three merit awards for the TV and website work.
The campaign taps into insights about a potential patient’s healthcare decision-making and information gathering processes. It helps provide not just answers, but also the understanding that SLUCare physicians practice Informed Medicine.

“We wanted to do something interruptive,” explained Scott Leisler, Dovetail’s President and Chief Creative Officer. “Thinking about how people experience messages today, we wanted to make sure that we would cut through all the noise, so we took the approach of creating a campaign that’s relatable to people’s lives, which are often incredibly busy and full of responsibilities.”
The Informed Medicine campaign competed with 4,000 other entries from across the US in the largest healthcare advertising awards competition in the country.
