Logan University releases refreshed school identity and platform
Dovetail and Logan University have partnered together to develop and unveil the school’s new identity and brand platform.
Dovetail, a brand communication agency, started working with Logan in early Summer 2017. Long known for their world-class Doctor of Chiropractic program, Logan has continued to evolve into a leading health sciences university.
To better reflect this new positioning in higher education, Dovetail conducted thorough research of the university and its competitors and interviewed key stakeholders from the school’s internal and external audiences. The insights from this research informed the creative process, and can be seen throughout the new identity: “Leaders Made.”
This new brand identity will better reflect the expanding advanced education programs that Logan offers students believes Donna MacDonald, Dovetail’s Senior Vice President of Brand Management.
“Logan was founded as a chiropractic college but it’s expanding to become a premier health sciences university. Logan provides students superior training with deep clinical immersion, a world-class faculty, and a comprehensive curriculum. Graduates are prepared to be innovators and leaders in health care, and ‘Leaders Made’ perfectly reflects this.”
“Leaders Made is our story,” said Logan President Clay McDonald, DC, MBA, JD. “It details how Logan is improving the lives of patients; deepening the breadth of our curriculum, program offerings and clinical opportunities to create more enriching experiences.”
Along with the new brand platform, Dovetail also created a stylized ‘Leaders Made’ wordmark and variety of other pieces that will be implemented throughout its campus, and across its digital and social presence.
